Plot Summary

I usually detest writing plot summaries, a general sense of cheesiness goes along with them. It's unavoidable, however, so if you could play some epic soundtrack music in the background while you read this, it would really help. Enjoy!

“Kaili has been wandering the coastal villages of Ocyrus, with her aunt Kieram, for as long as she can remember – all ten of her seventeen years. Before that, there is nothing. Her aunt says it was the trauma of losing both her parents - Kaili’s not so sure. But how can she question the one person who has always taken care of her? With the royal family all either missing or dead since the coup to overtake them, and Bastet lying in shambles, those who would do anything to keep their power are determined to kill her: the last remaining threat.”
