Plot Summary

I usually detest writing plot summaries, a general sense of cheesiness goes along with them. It's unavoidable, however, so if you could play some epic soundtrack music in the background while you read this, it would really help. Enjoy!

“Kaili has been wandering the coastal villages of Ocyrus, with her aunt Kieram, for as long as she can remember – all ten of her seventeen years. Before that, there is nothing. Her aunt says it was the trauma of losing both her parents - Kaili’s not so sure. But how can she question the one person who has always taken care of her? When her body begins to betray her and secrets creep to the surface, Kaili is forced into a world where she is the number one target. She is the last of the True Sirens, ancient creatures sworn to protect the royal blood of Bastet. With the royal family all either missing or dead since the coup to overtake them, and Bastet lying in shambles, those who would do anything to keep their power are determined to kill her: the last remaining threat.”

The Last True Siren Series

I plan use this blog to promote, ask advice, and brainstorm everything about my novels (in-production). The working titles for the series as a whole is obviously mentioned in the title of the blog. Most likely "The Last True Siren" will end up being the title for the first novel as well, unless something else becomes more appropriate during the writing process. In all, I have the series organized to be roughly three to four novels.
